Friday
There will be a guided tour on Friday morning, which will give you a chance to discover our capital city, Ljubljana.
In the afternoon a bus will take us to lake Bohinj, where we will stay for the next 3 days. We will stop in Škofja Loka, a very well-preserved medieval town, and Kropa, a village with an old iron-forging tradition. You will have some free time in both, which you can spend on exploring, visiting museum, or simply enjoying the view from a local café.
Saturday
After the wild party you will have until afternoon to do whatever you want. There are many choices available, including adrenalin park on hostel grounds, various sports activities, spending time at/in the lake or even visiting some cultural sites. To make things easier for you, we have prepared two programs that we think are an affordable group activity:
- rafting – beginner/intermediate tour, takes about 3,5 h. cost: 22 eur
- Bohinj olympics – an interesting competitive outdoor games, takes about 3 h. cost: 22 eur
You can choose which one (if any) you want to do at registration. It might also be possible to decide once you’re there, but we cannot promise there’ll be free spots.
In early afternoon we will start with the picnic (alcoholic drinks not incl. in price). While you wait for the food you’ll have the first taster. This one is not blues, but we can’t tell you yet what it is.
Sunday
On Sunday we will organise a day trip to Bled, another beautiful lake nearby. First we will visit Blejski vintgar, follow the trail to waterfall Šum, and then drive to the Bled castle. Next stop will be the lake itself, where you’ll have some free time for lunch and exploring on your own. We will leave from Hotel Park, the home of the original Bled cream cake. cost: 25 eur
If you are too tired to go on this trip, you can of course stay in Bohinj, and do something on your own. You will have to specify your decision in registration form. Again, it might be possible to join in later, but we cannot guarantee free spots.
Monday
Because we don’t know which way you are headed after exchange, we will not organise the trip back to Ljubljana.
